Cascade Integration & Development Inc. is an Oregon systems integration firm that has a growing presence in California. We are looking to hire a unique individual that can serve our existing customers throughout the state but primarily in Bay Area. This position will initially be a work from home arrangement until an office is arranged, which will most likely be in the East Bay. The position will require someone who has a diversity of skills, great customer service mentality, and the ambition to maintain the stellar reputation that CID has in our industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Control systems project management
    • Design oversite
    • Submittal packages
    • System documentation development
  • Direct interfacing with customers
  • Multi-industry control system design including:
    • PLC program development (primarily Allen-Bradley)
    • HMI development (primarily Wonderware System Platform and Ignition)
    • Electrical Design
    • Instrumentation specification
    • Networking configuration
  • System commissioning
  • Customer support


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree -BS/MS , or equivalent technical training
  • Five or more years’ experience with systems integration.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with coworkers and customers
  • Ability to clearly communicate with customers to diagnose control system issues
  • Ability to adhere and contribute to in house standards
  • Ability to use MS Office products with no training
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • No criminal history

Preferred Skills:

  • PE Licensure in the State of California
  • Familiar with UL508
  • PLC Programming Experience with AB SLC, AB CLX, Modicon, and Siemen
  • HMI Development Experience:
    • Ignition
    • Wonderware System Platform
  • AutoCad (2d electrical prints)
  • Telemetry
